FAQ
What is yarn bombing?
It’s yarn graffetti. It’s a non-harmful type of street art, often done in response to cold or uninteresting urban environments. Yarn bombing explores new forms of expression of the traditional handcrafts for knitting and crochet, and goes beyond.
Installations can be collaborative, large scale or temporary works of public art. The intent can be political or protest statements, expressions of art and design, or just for fun.
Who are you?
We are an evolving group of artists and crafters who create installation projects. Some of us knit, some crochet, some wrap, some photograph and document projects or add talent to the collaboration in other ways.
