One day this guy showed up at the ideaXfactory wearing a really cool hand-knit hat, and he said he, “knits mountains.” When we asked to see one, he pulled out the most amazing construction of knitting!

Currently Jacob Gaumer is having a two-person show called “Sweater Mountain” in Sweden with his collaborator Cecilia Pfaff featuring twelve of their constructions. Here’s a little peek though the door of the gallery (and fog machine), and we hope to get more photos soon.

Better yet, Jacob is planning on doing an outdoor installation in late December, early January 2014 at the ideaXfactory!
